NEXTDOOR subscription is a flat fee of $70 for 12 months or part thereof. Terms of agreement and conditions apply.
Terms:
NEXTDOOR is a subscription-based art space that does not host exhibition opening events. NEXTDOOR is a salon-style group exhibition space where viewing of the actual artwork is exclusive to subscribers and their guests, rather than to the general public.
NEXTDOOR artists works will only be available for viewing by the general public via the website and social media platforms.
NEXTDOOR artists agree to have their work shared via the website and social media platforms.
NEXTDOOR artist subscriptions are limited in number and an application and selection process is used.
NEXTDOOR is accessible only via eCard subscription and therefore subscribers must have access to a smartphone or tablet capable of supporting the eCard. Without such a device, subscription to NEXTDOOR is not possible.
NEXTDOOR encourages vigorous creative voices and embraces diverse expression. The management maintains right to remove artwork deemed potentially unsafe or considered counterproductive to the overall endeavour of a community-based program.
NEXTDOOR members agree to work within a community of trust, participation, camaraderie and kindness. Management maintains right to terminate the membership of a subscriber who intentionally or continually interrupts the harmony or welfare of others in the program for whatever reason.
NEXTDOOR exclusively exhibits original artwork that is owned and created by the artist subscriber. Works other than this will be removed.
NEXTDOOR artists agree to replace their exhibited artworks with new artwork at the minimum 1 week and maximum 3 weeks. Artworks left hanging for extended periods may be removed from display and stored by management. Uncollected works will incur a storage and handling fee. Artwork of any type exceeding 150 x 150 cm in size or 8 kilos in weight require curatorial approval of the fixings and installation process before work is transported to the venue.
NEXTDOOR management hereby informs the artist that insurance of their artwork and any property installed at NEXTDOOR is the sole responsibility of the artist. Artists are advised the nature of the program includes a level of risk to property.
NEXTDOOR advises that for accountability and safety reasons adults only are permitted. All visitors must be over 18. Persons under 18 years of age are not admissible into the program or the venue.
NEXTDOOR walls, ceiling and floors must not be taped, drilled or nailed at any time without prior approval. Walls, floors, ceilings and windows must not be marked or damaged. If damage or marking occurs by accident or is noticed, subscribers agree to notify management so that repairs can be made.
NEXTDOOR is largely self-operated by its subscribers. All elements of sale/purchase of artwork is the responsibility of the artists and the buyer. Purchases are made directly and are free from commissions.
All work displayed in the gallery by Artist subscribers must be photographed and include details for potential buyers to be able to make purchases directly with the artist.
